In Playtime Prodigies (ages 1-3), your kids will get ready to begin their musical journey. Playtime is a primer series that introduces the concepts, ideas and characters from Prodigies in toddler friendly format. These songs are slower, more movement based, and a good deal sillier than the rest of Prodigies!
In our Preschool Prodigies (ages 3-6), your kids will sing and play songs about colors, note names (letters), scale degrees (numbers), and Solfege to learn all about the C Major Scale, Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti do. They’ll learn classic nursery rhymes, tons of Mi Sol La songs, and they’ll build up their musical ear through lots of “meaningful play with individual notes.” In PsP Melodies (ages 3+), learners focus solely on hand-signing with the Solfege (Curwen) Hand-Signs. These short and sweet, instrument-free singing lessons help your kids learn the important skill of sight singing in a way that’s colorful, fun and low-pressure!
In Primary Prodigies (ages 6+), we introduce more musical vocabulary, more advanced musical concepts and more difficult music theory. We present all of our music properly notated in the treble clef, so that your kids will learn to read sheet music with ease! Primary Prodigies is much longer and more advanced with new Chapters coming every year, and it is designed as a full-fledged elementary school music curriculum.
